Replacement Dwelling – Laugharne

Laugharne, Carmarthenshire

Favourable pre-application comments were obtained from Carmarthenshire County Council for our modern, flat-roofed dwelling with large areas of glazing to maximise the view over the Taf estuary. Situated on a complicated site along the water’s edge; site levels, flood risk, ecological, surveys, historical, impact, archaeological features and public rights of way will need to be obtained/investigated further prior to the planning application submission.

I qualified for Registration as an Architect in 1975; my qualifications are B.Sc. (Environmental Studies) with First Class Honours and Bachelor of Architecture (Wales) with Distinction. I remain in the practice as a Consultant Architect working reduced hours alongside Aled and the team.
I try to positively contribute to Narberth Rugby Club, which I am a vice president, and also the local Whitland & Narberth Rotary club where I have been a member for 38 years (and counting). With more free time me and my wife are able to travel on more long weekends where we enjoy walking and experiencing different cultures.
